In a kingdom breaking beneath the oppressive rule of a usurper, three teens with very different backgrounds join a rebellion, seeking freedom from darknesses both within and without. As their paths converge, the three rebels find they have more in common than they may have thought, but whether they can forge true friendships and become rebels in their own right, or be driven apart by personal traumas and the corruption pervading their country, is entirely up to them.

Tirzah Rae has always been compelled by the power of words and story. As a child, she created make-believe worlds with her siblings, and she was never without a book to read. Now, she strives to write stories that whisper truths of eternity and create characters that leave readers feeling a little more seen. Her aim is to seek Jesus and rise ever skyward. When not writing or reading, she’s off exploring in the Pacific Northwest or obsessing over the storytelling in a song or movie.
